POM (Polyoxymethylene) is a high-performance engineering plastic,
often used in the manufacture of precision parts. It has excellent
mechanical strength, rigidity and wear resistance, and is suitable
for achieving high-precision forming through CNC machining. POM
parts, due to their low coefficient of friction and excellent
dimensional stability, are particularly suitable for applications
such as gears, bearings, sliders, and connectors that have high
requirements for precision and wear resistance. Through processes
such as CNC turning and milling, complex-shaped POM parts can be
processed efficiently. In addition, POM also has excellent chemical
resistance and fatigue resistance, and can work stably for a long
time in various complex environments.
►Furthermore, POM also has the following several significant
advantages:
- Strong fatigue resistance: It is not easy to break under repeated
force for a long time and is suitable for manufacturing functional
parts in continuous motion through numerical control processing.
- Chemical resistance: It can resist various solvents, oils, weak
acids and weak alkalis.
- Good self-lubricating property: It can operate smoothly without
adding lubricants.
